Hi I'm John

I am artist and I have a strong passion for life and learning. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life. I love the times I get to spend out doors admiring or just being in and amongst some of God's greatest creations. There is something special about appreciating some of the small and simple things. It is also nice to realize what he has created or organized and it is all too often that we choose to stay fast paced and on the go. That being said, I am a doer I guess. Sense I was young I enjoyed being engaged in the moment, especially when it came to sports. I grew up with a great drive to compete and that has continued to this day. My career is centered in the artists. I have participated in both culinary and theatrical arts. I love the expressions that are felt when only an image or picture can speak a thousand words. I grew up in a good size family of thirteen. I have eight beautiful sisters and two stealer brothers and a set of parents that are sincere and great. I have been very lucky to see the world through twelve different lenses. There is something special about getting to know each personality and what makes them tick.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ and I have come to appreciate it more and more as the days go on. Life has asked me to take a stance on whether the Church of Jesus Christ is true or not and I am a convert of it's truth. Each day it seems like an opportunity to excise my faith and to believe in what I know to be true. I have appreciated church nearly all my life. It saddens me to see so many struggle with their understanding of religion and their belief in organized churches. However, there appears to be a chance to lend a helping hand and to comfort those who stand in need of comfort. I am fortunate to be granted such a wonderful gift, such as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints, and I embrace the Mormon way. I am a Mormon because it provides me with a path that give me the chance to find out more and more about myself and the identity that is owed by me. One of the greatest gifts to each of us is to feel understood, loved, trusted, and respected. To truly feel a live and purposeful. Which comes as a result of my relationship with Christ.

How I live my faith

It should be said that I enjoy thinking outside the box and seeking the unanswered. My faith is bedded in the very fact that Our Father in Heaven cares and he is greatly concerned about us, that Jesus Christ can and does truly succor to our every need, and that the Holy Ghost will bring all things to our remembrance. I currently am a teacher in my congregation. I enjoy it because it is an opportunity to let others teach who normally don't feel incline to. I am amazed at the difference of approach others have to life in comparison to my mine, and how it opens my eyes and heart to who they are. I find more and more that my faith in Christ is not root in hearing myself speak but in listening. I gain a stronger love for life when I hear others speak from their heart and to listen to them overcome themselves. My master is the Lord Jesus Christ and he will wait appropriately for me to self discover the things I need to to help get me closer to his Father. On more than one occasion I have become eternally grateful for the Holy Ghost and it's ability to speak in small but defining ways. I figure that the more I combine my faith and work together the more my Father in Heaven will combine both his justice and mercy together. I guess it is up to me. I better get after it.:)
