Hi I'm Breanne

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Volleyball is one of my passions. I love playing. I also enjoy camping and going four-wheeler riding with my family. If I could travel anywhere, I would want to go to New Zealand. I often go to the park to swing, and i love flying kites. Sunsets are my favorite things to watch, and I'm allergic to cats.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and i love being a member. I look forward to church on Sundays because it is a place where I can feel the Spirit and my whole family is there with me. I was baptized when I was eight and I received the gift of the Holy Ghost. I love having the Spirit with my at all times because it helps me make good choices. Throughout my life i have had experiences that have made me know the church was true, and the Holy Ghost has confirmed it to me. I know that we have a prophet here on the earth today and he leads and guides the church. I know that families can be together forever and I am so glad that I have the opportunity to spend eternity with my family. It is reassuring to have the priesthood in my life and I know that i can turn to a worthy priesthood holder whenever I need to. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel to the earth and that the Book of Mormon is truly another testament of Jesus Christ. Christ atoned for our sins and if we repent we can return to live with him again. I know that this is the true church, and they is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week. I pray and read my scriptures. I attend all the youth activities that are provided by the church and right now i am serving as a president over the Young Women. I help plan activities that the youth would like to do and I also try to help the girls my age that need the help. I absolutely love what I do. I love setting an example to the younger girls and i love being involved with all the activities that go on in the church.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

We donate 10% of our income because we are asked to. It is called tithing. All of the money goes towards building temples, church houses, seminary buildings, and many other things. We pay 10% of everything we earn because God gave His life for us, so the least that we can do is give 10% to help with the church. Show more Show less
