Hi I'm Chris Collins

I served in the Marine Corps. I'm a small business owner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have spent time in the Marine Corps during Desert Storm. I have owned small businesses and am currently a REALTOR. I love to ride quads and spend time with my wife and children. Other hobbies include doing handyman work and trying to be a weekend auto mechanic. ( I still have a long way to go on that one)

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a house that practiced very little religion if any at all. I always had within me a desire to know if there is more out there. I went to other churches and tried other religions and came to the conclusion that religion is just not for me until a friend introduced me to his church. I enjoyed the people and met my future wife. The more time I spent going to church the more things started to make sense. I know I am a spiritual son of a loving Heavenly Father and He knows and loves me! What a wonderful thing to know! I now have a wonderful family that I love spending time with and I feel a closeness to them that I would have never known possible. I am thankful for the knowledge that I now have and I know that Families can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I have callings in the church that allow me to work with and teach the youth of the Church. Doing so helps me realize what a privilege it is being a member of this church because our youth are amazing individuals. We have family night every monday where our family gets together to have a gospel lesson and play games and eat dessert. We try to gather the family together every night for scriptures and prayer which helps us develop our relationships and bonds. Families are the fundamental unit of society and keeping close family relationships is so important.
