Hi I'm Madeline.

I am a varsity swimmer at my school. I have a brother with severe autism. I live in New Braunfels, TX.

About Me

My name is Madi. I have 5 siblings. 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and am the 4th child in the line. I am a varsity swimmer. I am in voice lessons and am often asked to sing for church events as well as others. I'm very outgoing. I plan on going to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah or Rexburg, Idaho. I have a brother, the 3rd oldest, who has severe autism and suffers with seizures and is the sweetest boy alive although his disability is very discouraging.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and was taught my standards early. My parents taught me well. As I grew older, I hit a terrible stage of depression and suicidal thoughts. That is when I realized that I had to be firm in my faith and because of that, I decided that being a mormon was more than just keeping some commandments, but rather it was what I needed to do so that I could be a better individual, and stronger to face my battles. That is why I am mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through simple actions and because of those simple actions, I am able to live my faith even in places or things where my faith is tested. Sometimes, using my faith is simply just saying no to a party, or saying stop to a bully. Sometimes, it is bigger. But, through it all, living my faith always starts with the simple things of reading my scriptures, praying and being honest and loving.
