Hi I'm Tui Niutupuivaha

I grew up in Tonga. I was in the Army. I build data processing computers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married with four wonderful children. I have a sweet wife who loves me to death. She is my strength and she is the reason I do what I do. After college we decided to join the Army and that was one of the most rewarding job I've had. I was a Combat Engineer and I loved it, but most of all I loved the men I served with. These were great men who were willing to do for others what they could not do for themselves. I was blessed to have served with them for eight years. However, the most important work I can do on this earth is within the walls of my home. So after much prayer and fasting we decided to leave the Army after eight wonderful years. I now work as a Manufacturing Engineer building Data Processing Computers. I love this job because I get to work with my hands and not just my brain. I also love it because at the end of the day I get to go home and serve in my church and be with people that I care so much for, my family. I get to go to soccer games, football games, basketball games, and volleyball games. Our family spends a lot of time at games. Through all of this, my relationship with my children and my wife has improved tremendously and I'm blessed with the knowledge to know that these relationships will exist forever.

Why I am a Mormon

God is not a God of confusion but a God of order. Through living prophets we understand the gospel of Jesus Christ in its fullness. I love the fact that we believe that the heavens are open and that God speaks to prophets today. If God loves all His children just the same, then why would he not speak to prophets today as like Abraham, Noah, and Mosses of the Bible. I know that he does. That through this communication, which is called revelation, we know and understand where we came from, why we're here and what is required of us to get back to God, and what happens after we die.

How I live my faith

Life is made up of relations. First is my relation with God and His son Jesus Christ. Second is my relation with my wife. Third is my relationship with my children, then extended families, friends, and associates. Everything we do either strengthen or weaken these relationships. Through daily prayer, bible study, and service to others I gain the spiritual power required to constantly work towards strengthening these relationships. The gospel of Jesus Christ is not a Sunday event. It is a way of life and is manifested in the way we treat our families, friends, and all those we associate with.
