Hi I'm Alexandria

I grew up in Oregon. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was married in the Portland Temple. I am expecting my first child this March. I am a student at a local community college. I love playing sports, especially volleyball! I grew up in Oregon so I love the outdoors. My family is one of my main priorities.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church and have never been without the Gospel for that I am truly thankful. There have been moments in my life where it has been dark and there doesn't seem to be an escape, and only through the light of Christ was I giving hope. I remain a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints because of personal revelation. The spirit has testified to my heart that the Church is true. Prayers have been answered, and will continue to be answered. Even when the answer is not what I want to hear I know the Lord knows what is best for me. I know Joseph Smith is a true prophet who received personal revelation from the Lord and restored the gospel here to our earth. I know the Gospel is true, I know the Holy Spirit guides and protects us. I know that Christ does not turn his back on us, but that we turn our backs on him. I testify of the power of the Atonement and the amazing sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the cross for us. I will never be able to fully understand grace, because I cannot comprehend all that Christ did for me. But I know Christ is merciful and full of grace, that he is just but he loves us. My testimony means the world to me, it is my anchor in a world full of confusion and hurt. Without it I would falter. My testimony was not told to me by my parents, leaders, or friends. My testimony grew from personal experiences, and will continue to grow each day. I know these things are true. I know our gospel is led by an amazing Prophet of the Lord. I know it and I cannot deny it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be like Jesus. Trying to be an example to those around me, and a good person in general. I find doing service is a great way to live my faith. I have held callings in the church but am currently with out one. I think my favorite calling so far was teaching the Youth of the Church. They are so bright, and I am comforted to know that they will be our future leaders of the Gospel.
