Hi I'm Destiny

I love to see the temple. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

Midafternoon on a summers Monday in the final days of June, I was born to a young couple. Nearly a year after, a son was born to the same couple and my first brother brought to me. Almost eighteen years later I have become the oldest of seven children; two sisters, two brothers, and two half sisters. I cannot begin to express my love for not only my siblings but for my entire family as a whole. Not being born in the church I've always done my best to teach the gospel to "the kids" as I like to call them and I know that at the end of the day they are grateful to be in ties with something so grand that I had not encountered until my fourteenth year of life... As a family we've visited the Mesa Arizona Temple and the Las Vegas Nevada Temple and I hope that our temple visiting days are not short lived! I know one day we will enter the temple to be sealed together and I can hardly wait! Just kidding, I'm a pretty patient person, I'll wait as long as it takes :) -A skill I've learned from the ways of public transportation. Anyway, besides rambling my hobbies include writing, reminising, reading, watching The Golden Girls and the Martha Stewart Show, reading blogs, blogging, photography, taking bubble baths, and a lot more lovely activities. I love mix-matching patters, red lipstick, the smell of old books and November, the spanish and german language, missionaries, people in general, and the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

"I knew the way you know about a good melon." The reason I'm a Mormon is not going to be the reason you're a [future] Mormon so I guess I'll just offer some advice; don't second guess yourself when it makes sense and makes you feel good. Anything deceitful does not give you happy feelings.

How I live my faith

I do my best to "live according to my faith." I am not perfect. I make mistakes but through it all, I make it a priority to pray to our Heavenly Father. I believe communication is important and I know that if we ask we shall recieve, always. True to the faith!
