Hi I'm Naomi!

Grew up in St George. Favorite color is Pink. I love animals. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am attending my first year in college and I am interested in becoming a Vet Tech! I love animals, kids, my friends, and my family! My family and friends come first! I enjoy swimming, running, hanging out with friends, and family and babysitting!! I love doing triathalons and 5ks! 5K's and triathalons help motivate me to stay in shape! My favorite colors are: Pink, orange, lime green, yellow, and purple. My favorite foods are Italian, Chinese, and Mexican along with good ol' cheeseburgers! I'm a HUGE fan of twilight. I enjoy reading, as long as the book i'm reading is easy to get into. I really don't like harry potter-those books/movies are hard for me to get into!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints. I'm so glad I was born into the Church. Living in the church has helped me in so many ways. I know I can always go to our father in heaven when I need help. He is my life! I am happy to be a member of the church and I love following the guidelines set up for our church. By following our heavenly father's gospel, I am able to be happy and get through my day. I know what I want and I will and can get there as long as I have him on my side. I know the LDS church is true! Im very thankful for it in my life! Im thankful for the temple and the teachings of christ. I'm thankful we have living prophets to follow! Our heavenly father speaks through them!

How I live my faith

I have participated in Swimming, Track, Choir, Raskals, and Drama. Raskals=Random acts of selfless kindness and little surprises. My friends and I wanted to see what Raskals was so we Joined the club. Our first activity was on halloween and instead of trick or treating for candy, we went trick or treating for cans of food for a canned food drive at our school! I also live my faith by going to church every sunday, reading my scriptures, praying, treating others kindly, not swearing or drinking, and dressing modestly.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is having the knowlege that something we believe in and know is true. For example, my testimony is, that I know my father in heaven lives. He loves us and he died for us. I know that if we pray to him with our problems or when we need help, he will be there! he wants to help us! he's just waiting for us to come to him. He know's us better than we know ourselves. I know heavenly father died for our sins so that we may be saved, I know Joseph Smith is and was a true Prophet. Show more Show less
