Do you want to chat with a missionary?

We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hi I'm Liz.

Texas is my home. I love people, summer, and sno-cones. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm just an average girl from Texas. That includes loving country music, the Cowboys (by default), and spending time in the middle of nowhere just looking at the stars. Although I have not always been the best at showing it, my family means everything to me. God has truly given me the BEST Mom, Dad, brother, grand-parents, cousins, aunt and uncle etc...and that is not up for debate. (And, of course, the best friends) Currently, I reside in the state of Ohio where I chose to spend eighteen months as a full-time missionary. I get to teach people more about Christ's re-established church which I have come to know for myself is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. During these months, I have discovered more intimately my relationship with God, my (and your) Heavenly Father. Pre-mission life? I was going to school, working, and finding happiness in my every day life. Bookstores, working with children, sunshine, live music, and Mexican food aided in some of that happiness. All of that aside, real happiness has come as I have done my best to follow Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

Hope. Change. Happiness. Truth. Four words that I have defined as I have followed the complete teachings of Jesus Christ...again, which I know are found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Discovering a hope in my Savior, I was led to make changes. Through those changes I recognized (and continue to recognize) a happiness that is substantial even on those crummy days. This process, combined with prayer, gives me a feeling that I have found truth. No one will ever take that from me.

How I live my faith

Faith, to me (and maybe to you), is a belief in something or someone that leads to action. I know that Jesus Christ is real. So what? So...As I continually learn about Him, through the scriptures, conversations with others, church, prayer, trial and error, trial and success, I do my best to implement what I learn to become more like Him.
