Hi I'm Marianne

I was widowed 5 years ago. I just remarried and together we have 8 children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was a widow. Now I'm happily remarried. I have four children of my own. My husband has four children and 3 grandchildren. I became instant grandma. I love to act and sing. I used to be in plays in Utah, and I hope to do more here in Arizona someday. Photography and scrapbooking are a passion of mine. I hate to admit it, but I have way too many scrapbook supplies. I love the outdoors. Camping and boating is something I had not done since I was young and I love that my new husband has reintroduced me to those wonderful experiences.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, but there was a time in my life where I made the choice and was converted in my own way to completely know and not just believe that this is the true church on the earth today. I wish I could put the feelings in my heart into others so they could know it like I do. I know that I have survived and endured all only through the love and support of my Heavenly Father. I know that because of the atonement of Jesus Christ I can repent and be forgiven and gain exhaltation. I know that the spirit of the Holy Ghost has on many occasions been the only thing that has helped me make my way.

How I live my faith

I try to live each day doing the very best I can to keep the commandments, love and serve others and building strong and meaningful relationships with my Heavenly Father and my family. I attend church and I help in my ward in the women's program of our church. I am able to visit with other ladies in our ward and talk with them about the gospel and establish friendships with many. Over this last year we have worked together with other wards to gather food for an organization called kitchen on the street. We also worked together to quilt over 180 quilts to donate to DPS Angels.
