Hi I'm Rilee Ann :)

I am the only active member in my family. I love sports, travel, food, nature, and a good time. Im a Mormon.

About Me

Hello, Im Rilee Ann. I have a firm belief that with an abundant amount of smiles and a humble attitude this world can become the sanctuary I dream of. I love bad weather, fun, nature, being outdoors, animals, food, traveling, and experiencing all this world has to offer. I don't think anyone loves this planet and all who inhabit it more than me :) I love standing in the rain, catching a few drops on my tongue and relishing this magnificent place I live in. Most people like to focus on the bad things but why the heck would I do that when there's SO much good!!!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents divorced when I was 10, leaving me to choose between my mother who remarried and lives in Texas, or my inactive father who never moved. It was definitly a hard decision but I chose to stay with my dad. The members in my stake and ward are the only thing that has kept me from falling apart, I love them so much. For about a year Satan convinced me that I didnt matter, that everything that had happened and was happening to me didnt concern my father in heaven, I believed that I was truly alone. Then I moved in to my present ward. They truly answered my prayers. I had been praying for who knows how long to a heavenly father I didnt believe in, But now I know. I Know that my redeemer lives. I know with all my heart that this church is true. Sure, Its hard, but I know my father in heaven has a plan for me.

How I live my faith

I am a youth. I live my faith by walking my talk. There are so many stereo types placed on Mormons saying that we are "stuck up, snooty, selfish, too good for anyone" but that is not true...Without members in my life I dont know where I'd be, Someone who is "snooty" wouldn't help someone like the old me become who I am today. My goal as I go throughout the school day or my social life is to shine with the light of Christ and to show those who believe the rumors that they aren't anywhere close to the truth. Even if I only effect one person in my who life, that'll be enough, One soul saved. I live my faith through my actions. God has given everyone specific talents that are meant to be used to bring mankind that much closer to salvation. My talent? I smile.

What are some of the ways that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helps those around the world?
