Hi I'm Josh

I'm awesome. I love sports. I love helping and being around people. I dislike pickles. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Ohhhhh maaannnn!!! So my name is Josh. California raised, Bay Area to be exact. Sports are pretty much amazing. Used to play baseball, but retired and picked up slow-pitch softball haha. Big college football fan. Family is everything to me. The happiest times you will ever have is with the fam. I like Skittles. Ok, bye.

Why I am a Mormon

So I am a Mormon for a lot of reasons. Simply, I grew up in this church. I had good experiences growing up being apart of it and am very grateful for amazing parents who taught me the Gospel and church standards at a young age. But I came to the realization when I got older that I honestly didn't know that everything I had ever been taught was true. I started to look at my life differently and can honestly say that I was lost. I made some bad decisions and was just at a place in my life where I didn't want to be. I was looking for truth for myself. So I decided to take up the invitation that is given to all men. To read the Book of Mormon, to ponder on what it was trying to tell me, then pray to God to know truth for myself. I never got an astounding answer, but I realized more and more each time I read how much this book applied to me. Every page that I turned had answers I was looking for. I had a lot of small experiences through reading and striving to live the Gospel that built up my faith and experienced things I can never deny. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored. I know if this was not in my life, I wouldn't be the person I am today. I was lost, but now I am found.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am actually serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm serving in Georgia. As a missionary, I have the opportunity everyday to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them recieve His restored gospel. I'll be serving for these next 2 years. I get to share with people my testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel and how important it can be in their lives, as well as trying to help out anyone in anyway I can. It's pretty cool. Honestly, I'm trying to live my faith by just being the best person I can be. By trying to be the best missionary I can be. And by trying to follow Jesus Christ's example.
