Hi I'm Arlyn

About Me

I am a retired Immigration Office , enjoying that activity very much for over 30 years. after working for 38 yeasrs, both as a Border Patrolman and Immigration Officer. I was born in the Church and have been married to my wife for almost 60 years. I have four children and 15 grandchildren and presently 8 great grandchildren. My driving hobby was training and showing horses, primarily in the reining discipliin. I won some qand lost some but enjoyed it all. I also enjoy stream fishing for trout. My wife and I still downhill ski,. I am presently 78 years old. We consider it a wonderful exercise for winter activity. I am a mormon, always have been and am grateful to the Lord for reestablishing his church at a time when I may take advantage of belonging .

Why I am a Mormon

My Father and Mother were Mormons and I was born under the covenant and grew up as a member of the Mormon Church. I did not always attend regularly but never doubted the reality of His Church having been restored on the earth. I am a Mormon because I have a testimony that this is the only way I can attain eternal Life. That is through the atonement of Jesus Christ and by living his Commandments. This I try to do to the very best of my ability.

How I live my faith

I presently live ny faith by following, to the best of ml;y ability, the Conmnandments of Jesus Christ , Our Savior, I pay my Tithing, I live the Word of Wisdom, , I know I don't have to be perfect, but I must honestly try to do the very best I can. At times I have heard that MNormons think they are better than anyone else, I believe because we are members of Jesus Christ's church, we must do better than anyone else. I have had various callings int he Church, I take them seriously and do my best in fulfilling those callings./ I am definitely proud to be a Mormon
