Hi I'm Reagan

I absolutely adore my family. I like to sing and dance, often at the same time. I love musicals. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sew, sing and dance, play the violin and piano, and spend time with my family. My favorite holiday is Christmas, and I am a firm believer that Christmas music should be played from November's beginning to December's end. I am planning on going to Brigham Young University and studying Music Education.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this Church, and I am very blessed to have been. I am confident that I would not be the person today without the Gospel. I know that Heavenly Father's plan is called the Plan of Happiness for a reason. We look at the world's views and it is so obvious that they don't bring happiness. By living right, we lead a healthy, happy life. We don't have to worry about feeling guilty, or hiding things from our parents or other loved ones. We do what we are supposed to because it's right. I am a firm believer of that! I, like everyone else, make mistakes, but through this Plan, I can repent and rid myself of any feelings of guilt. This may sound weird, but another reason I know this church is true is that it gets attacked by the world so much. With a lot of public issues today, we are seen as a people who don't "adjust to the times." Yet God's Law never changes. Doesn't it make sense that the devil would try to destroy the truth?

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to others. I try my very best to live how Heavenly Father wants me to live, and I try to show that by my actions. I want others to recognize me as someone who stands up for my beliefs, even if I am the last one standing where I am. The fact is, I never am alone. Christ stands by me. And I want everyone to know that Jesus Christ, our brother, stands by them too. I always pray that I can be an answer to someone's pray each day. And answering someone's prayer can be as simple as sending a smile their way, or saying hi. What's really cool is saying "Hi, [Name]." They feel like I care about them personally. And the thing is, I do. When I try to get to know people more, I really do care for them. I can feel Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ's love for them, and it makes me love them too. And by showing God's love to others, I can feel his love myself. It helps me feel stronger and loved, and my faith increases so much. One day, I was walking back to the school after my Seminary Class, and I was feeling great about life; still feeling the Spirit. I decided that I would compliment each person I passed on my way. And I would make the compliment sincere. As I approached them, I looked for something I could say, not just go up to them and say, "You are a Wonderful person." (Although I'm sure they all were wonderful people.) Now I probably didn't change anyone's life right then and there. I don't even know that I made each of their days better. But I do know that I had a spectacular day myself. I'm sure I was assigned homework in all my classes; of course my teachers didn't say that we weren't going to do anything. I didn't have a spectacular day because of events, but because of my attitude. And I know that that attitude was the Spirit with me all day, because when we lose ourselves in service, we truly are so much happier. And it makes sense. When we stop thinking about all of our problems, we forget them, and they don't seem nearly as big.
