Hi I'm Julie

I'm a Mormon. I'm a wife, sister, daughter and a mother of twins. I am also a twin.

About Me

I am a working mom; I have a consulting business that I run mainly out of my home. I have an accounting degree and am a California CPA; I enjoy doing accounting work! I like to spend time with my children, their friends, and my sisters and their children. We especially have a fun time in the summer when we get to go to the beach, to parks, hiking, and on day trips around our city. I enjoy reading and listening to music; I especially enjoy classical music and rock music from the 70's and 80's.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in an active LDS family and was taught the gospel at home and at church throughout my life. Even so, I had to choose whether I believed the teachings. I have a testimony that Jesus is the Christ, is the Son of God, and is at the head of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I feel happiness, peace, and joy from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love the good feeling that comes to me and into my house from living the gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always trying to be charitable - especially by having kind thoughts toward and about others. I try to be an example of Christ-like behavior and try to live up to the standards of the church. Throughout my life I have accepted the jobs/callings that I have been asked to do within the church organization. I have spent about twenty-five years visiting my fellow church members, teaching children the gospel, planning fun activities, and serving in the women's organization. I have enjoyed each job and have learned aspects of the gospel from performing the job and from working with others.
