Hi I'm Tawni

I'm a crazy busy wife & mother of 4, continually trying to grow in every aspect of life. I'm a runner lover. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of 4 of the greatest kids on earth. I love to run and exercise. I love sweets! I love self help books that continually teach me about how I and other people are the way they are. I love to learn about that stuff! I love to blog! I am obsessed with my blog at times! I make blog books for myself and others and it is a creative outlet for me. I love friends that I can relate with. I love having time to myself to read and create and feel like i'm becoming a better person because of it. I love babies, they make my heart happy. I love taking pictures of every single thing my kids do, to keep as treasures for them when they are older.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 8 years old. Throughout the years I have come to a much greater knowledge of the gospel. The longer I live, the more I grow in the gospel. Each day is a new one. Each day I try to constantly strive to read the Book of Mormon, the Ensign, Pray and become closer to my Savior than I was the day before. I love going to church each sunday, to learn and feel the spirit, and to take the sacrament. It makes my heart happy and helps me feel that I can continue throughout the next week easier and happier. It helps me want to be a better, happier version of myself. To be a better wife and mother. It makes me happy to feel like I am continually becoming a better person, for myself and my family.

How I live my faith

I have taught many ages of children in the primary and nursery kids. I have served in the Enrichment Committee, where we plan fun activities to do as women in the church. That was my most favorite calling so far. I really got to know some neat, fun ladies and build friendships that I still have with them. I currently am a Cub Scout leader for the 8 year olds. These boys are definitely full of energy! I have lots of fun with them! It is good for me, having 3 boys myself, to get to know this age group and to help them feel good about themselves by accomplishing goals and earning awards for their accomplishments. My son is in there with me and it is really fun to see how excited he gets for the different activities we do each week, and to see how happy he is to earn his awards. He feels soo accomplished and is soo proud of himself. My younger son just watches everything and soaks it all in for when he is old enough to do the same things. I love Visiting Teaching, because it's a fun time to get to know other women and to hear their stories and relate them to my own, to learn from them and grow from them. It also makes me feel good when other women come and visit me as well.
