Hi I'm Cody Kreitel

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. Just before high school, my family moved to my mom's hometown of Colonia Juarez Mexico. It started out as a mormon colony in the 1800s. My family still lives in Mexico but I returned to Anchorage, Alaska. I am married to my best friend Elena and we have two amazing kids - a daughter and a son. We enjoy the outdoors as a family and love playing with our kids. I work as a geotechnical engineer on a variety of projects across the State of Alaska.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family. As I grew up in the church, I gained my own testimony of the truthfullness of the Book of Mormon and the reality of the restoration. I served a 2-year mission in the Czech Republic where my testimony grew even more. I can never deny that I know the church is true.

How I live my faith

I try to attend my meetings regularly. I serve as the young men's president in our ward. Above all I strive to be a good husband and father. I fall short sometimes because I am not perfect, but I am always trying.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Cody Kreitel
Mormon missionaries proselyte because they have a wonderful message. They know that they have the truth and that it makes them happy. They want to share the truth with others so that they can spread that happiness. Show more Show less
