Hi I'm Bob DeWidt

I grew-up in Southern California's San Fernando Valley and went to college in San Luis Obispo, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a great-grandfather, and retired after a 32-year career as a municipal civil engineer. My wife and I have combined our families and have 10 children, 29 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. My principal daily activities are my walks in the community and the fulfilling of my church assignments

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because it gives me clarity I need as to who I am, why I am here and what my responsibilties are while I am living, and where I am going after my time on earth is complete. It is logical and complete.

How I live my faith

I currently hold the assignment of "financial clerk" in my Ward (congregation). I maintain the donor records and process the expense transactions. An ongoing assignment is that I regularly visit other members of my Ward.
