Hi I'm Courtney

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a part time working mother. I have a 5 month old baby girl. My husband works full time as a security guard supervisor on the graveyard shift. I work whatever shift I'm given in retail. I love art and photography. I love shopping and I love chocolate!

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has been a part of my life since birth, and it has given me an amazing perspective on life, death and so many other things. I look forward to going to church each Sunday to help me remember why I am here on this earth, and to help me keep the spirit throughout the week. I love hearing the church members comments in Sunday School. Everyones perspective on what the Gospel teaches is fulfilling and helps me see worldly topics in a new light. I am no expert on our scriptures, but I love hearing the stories of the Book of Mormon and the Old and New Testament. The parables that Jesus Christ taught in these scriptures applies to daily life. I know that this church is true. I love the gospel and I love Jesus Christ. I know he died for us, and I know he lives. I know that if I do my best to keep the commandments and strive to live righteously each day, I can return to my father in heaven and live with him again.

How I live my faith

I have just moved recently, and currently do not have a calling in my ward. Although in my last ward, I was a primary teacher for the 7 year olds. I struggled with it, but it helped me learn patience, and I was able to be creative in my lessons, and I tried my best to relate with the children and be a friend as well as a teacher. It was quite the learning experience for me.
