Hi I'm Sister Kapeliela

Born and raised in Mesa Arizona. I'm an aspiring photographer. Currently serving a mission in Sapporo Japan, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love his gospel, it makes me very happy. I have always had a desire to go on a mission. This gospel has blessed my life in so many ways, and I want to others to experience the same joy and happiness I feel. This is the one of the main reasons I am serving a mission. I love music, it plays a very important role in my life. I've played the Viola for about 10 yrs, I play the ukulele. I love to sing. I've taught myself how to play the piano, and I'm currently teaching myself how to play the guitar. I love photography, there's just something about it that makes me feel good inside. When I'm looking through the lens it's like I can see things no one else does, in that particular moment and I think that's why I love it so much. BUT the best thing I love about photography is that I get to capture the "special moments" for people whether it be at a wedding, birthday, baby shower etc. just knowing that they'll always have those pictures to help them remember how they felt on that day makes me happy

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this church, and at a very early age. I've been taught what's right from wrong, and basically just lived my life off my parents testimony, but as I grew older I've gained my own testimony and I know for myself that this is the true church of God. I've read and studied the Book of Mormon for myself and when I was finished reading it, I knew this was Christ's true church. The church makes me really happy. The gospel is true, it brings joy to my life and makes everything easier. I feel blessed to have the gospel in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by the way I act, dress and talk. I go to church every Sunday. I support the bishopric by accepting callings they give me, and by saying "yes" when they ask me to give a talk in sacrament meeting. Serving others, and sharing the gospel with everyone around, not just people I know. I'm currently preparing to serve a mission in Sapporo Japan.
