Hi I'm Kyle Millett

I am a college student, I live in the valley of the sun, I put my pants on one leg at a time and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Arizona native. I served a mission in Connecticut and got to serve the wonderful spanish speakers in Connecticut! That makes me a gringo that speaks spanish. I am currently studying Civil Engineering with a minor in Spanish. I am the oldest of three boys. I love my family and hope to one day have one of my own. I love food, especially latino food! Some of my favorite things to do are play sports. My number one choice to play is soccer, I've been playing it most of my life and I love it. Recently, I've been playing a lot of ultimate frisbee. If you don't know what it is, look it up some time. I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I find great joy and happiness as a member of this church. No one ever told me that I had to be a member of this church, but I choose to because I know this is Christ's Church here on the earth. I have received a witness in my heart by the spirit that I know it is true and I can not deny that fact. I know that our Savior suffered and died for all of us and the greatest thing of all is that he lives! And because he lives he plays an active role in our lives. He has called a living prophet on the earth to help guide us through these crazy times. The scriptures give me peace in this troubled world and I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God just as the Bible. I know this because I have seriously studied and prayed about these things. I have come to the knowledge that as I try to follow the example of my elder brother, Jesus Christ, that I find true joy and happiness that lasts.

How I live my faith

In my congregation or ward, I serve as the secretary to the Bishop, who is the spiritual leader of the ward. I organize and set up appointments for the Bishop so that he can meet with as many people need to see him. Also, a great blessing in the Church is Home Teaching. That is where members of the Church go and visit with other members of the congregation.
