Hi I'm Hannah

I'm from Mesa, AZ. I love doing hair and making people feel pretty, & just hanging out with friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been born & raised in Arizona. I am just a 19 year old girl just trying figure out who I am during this time of life when all the big decisions matter most. I have started my career of being a hairstylist. I enjoy giving people the satisfied looks they are looking for that help them feel happy & better about themselves! I love my family very much. I have a little sister & an older sister who is married with three kids, and two older brothers who are also married; one having a kid. I am a proud aunt of two beautiful little girls & two baby boys! My little sister is severely autistic. She is tough to take care of, but she sure is cute & she has blessed our family. I love spending time with my family, playing games & telling "remember when...?" stories when the family gets together. I love playing sports, especially volleyball. I played volleyball for a few years in high school. I enjoy listening & playing music. I am usually pretty easygoing & i just like to have fun!

Why I am a Mormon

I've been lucky to have been born into this church. My parents are both the only children on either side of their family that have decided to stay active in the church. I've realized that as a child, I just kind of depended on my parents' testimonies, but I have discovered that if I do apply their teachings in my life, I will see blessings as well & I will strengthen my own testimony. I always thought that our church had so many "rules" and that it was so strict, but I have realized that I can do whatever I want, but I will suffer the consequences...the standards are just there to keep me safe & help me not have to go through so much guilt or pain later on. I have seen miracles in my life through having my little sister in my life. I know she is a blessing in disguise & she teaches me so much about faith & other things. One experience is when she had a grand-mal seizure when she was two. Her whole body shut down, her lung collapsed, & she was put on life support. Our church all fasted & prayed for her, & two weeks later she came home on Christmas Eve. It was a perfect Christmas! I know prayers work & that God hears & answers all of them. I know she has a special purpose here on Earth, just as all of us do!

How I live my faith

Ever since I was born, I have always gone to church every Sunday that my family could attend. Now that i am graduated from high school, I am in that "YSA(young single adult)" stage of life. I go to the singles ward with adults ages 18-30. I'll be honest and say I wasn't always looking forward to being in a singles ward or anything like that, but it has been amazing. I love going there because I can be around a lot of fun people that share a lot of the similar struggles & know & share my values. There are always so many fun activities going on almost every night that are hosted by either the church or members of the church that are great to socialize & meet people at. It is a blast! I do have a calling at church as part of the family history/temple work committee. We have a separate Sunday school class that people are welcome to come to to learn how to find their ancestors and do genealogy. I try to serve others when I am given the opportunity. As i serve others it will make me happier, as well as the people I'm helping, & it can also help make me lose focus of the hard things I am going through at the time. I try to be an example to others around me & show them that Mormons aren't as crazy as people think.(:
