Hi I'm Steve

I love being a dad & husband. I am a healthcare executive, a triathlete, love to water ski, and I hate beets. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi. I have four kids and one granddaughter. I am married and my wife and I love to travel to new places and visit family all over the country. I love skiing on the slopes and behind a boat. When I am not working at a healthcare company, or visiting family, I am training for Ironman triathlons. I think that most problems in life seem smaller after a long run or long bike ride! I love to listen to music that moves me, can be anything from country to opera, and I even will sing in public once in a while. My favorite time of day is early morning, because my head is clear and I have complete control over my time. I have two dogs that are high energy and teach me patience. I would like to live in another country someday. But for now, loving Laguna Beach!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that was Mormon. I believed in my parents and had many experiences that helped me to believe.I developed my own firm belief in this church during my two years as a missionary in Tokyo Japan. After many years, challenges, life's curve balls, joys, and sorrows, I still know that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ, and am incredibly grateful to have this knowledge.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good person and kind to everyone. I work with the young men in my church, teaching them lessons and participate in activities with them. I also, sing in the church choir. To me, the most important way I live my faith is by being a good father and husband. Clearly not perfect, but I try very hard to get these two jobs right!
