Hi I'm Dorothy

I am a mother of six, my children come first. I help care for my parents, they come second. I get to be a grandma. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of six healthy children, I have one son on a mission, and one that has served a mission. I have two children that are married, and I will be a grandma soon for the first time. I am excited about that. I help my sister care for our parents during the day while my three younger children are at school. I like to knit, crochet, and read when I have the time. But mostly I like to just be with my family. That is where I am happiest.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born into an active Mormon family. My family has always been active in the church. I have always loved going to church. Even as a youth when others thought it was boring I loved to go. I had good leaders that became my friends. I get to serve others now that I am grown, and serving makes me happy. I have never doubted that the gospel is true. My parents have always been good examples of trusting the Lord and listening to the Holy Ghost. I don't really have anything more to say. I am a Mormon because that is the way I have always been. I have visited other churches with my friends and I can just feel the difference. I feel home at church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always trying to think if my Savior were here beside me would I do the things I do, say the things I say, read this, watch that, or listen to that. It helps me feel closer to Him in my daily activities. Like the Savior I am happy when I make others happy.
