Hi I'm Casey

You could say I'm just an average Joe. I'm a 24 yr old college guy who loves the outdoors.

About Me

I love just about everything outdoors; especially mountain biking, rock climbing, scuba diving and trial running. I am single and in my mid twenty's and studying physical therapy in college.

Why I am a Mormon

I did grow up in a family that is active in the church, but I still found out for myself that it's true. I had plenty of little things growing up but it was when I was 12 or 13 and went caving with our boy scout group. Long story short I ended up in the cave lost and alone with a flickering headlamp. I was horrified and after crying, as most young kids would, I prayed to God and was comforted and my light stayed on and I was prompted to go this way and then that way and I was led out of the cave. Ever since then I have known, without any doubt God is real and not only knows me, but loves me. It only makes sense that because of His love, He sent His Son to make it possible for all of His children to make it back to Him someday. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints truly contains the fullness of His gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith with love. I pray often and studying the scriptures daily. I try to be the best I can, which is trying to model my life after the example Jesus Christ set for all of us. I currently have a opportunity to help people that go to church with me to learn about family history and how to prepare genealogical records. At first I thought I was too young and my parents did a lot of our family history that I didn't need to worry about it. However the more I do the more interested I get. Heavenly Father wants all of His children to learn how to get back to Him and has made a way that that is possible. We also do a lot of fun activities such as game nights, campfires, and many other things.
