Hi I'm Millie

I recently moved to Denver, but grew up in Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a smallish Idaho town with a very loving family. I went to college for 2 years when I met my now husband- and we've been married a little over two years now. We recently moved to Colorado due to him graduating college and getting a job here. We are just enjoying spending time together, exploring Colorado, and making new friends. We love to travel, go camping, watch sports, and just hang out. We are going to be starting a family soon and I can't wait to see what our next chapter is going to be.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I've felt the Spirit tell me that this is the true church. I was born into the gospel, though my father isn't a member. (He doesn't affiliate himself with any organized religion.) So my mom would take us 4 kids to church by herself each Sunday; until we were old enough to choose on our own that that's where we wanted to be. We continue to pray for my dad and have hopes his heart will soften sometime.

How I live my faith

I participate and serve in a ward close to my home. My husband serves as the ward librarian. He passes out chalk or makes copies to people who come into the Churchs' library. I teach the 14 year old Sunday School class. They are great kids, though occasionally get off topic (just like any teens would.) I am all caught up with what they are involved with in school and their interests and hobbies- and they likewise find out things about me each week.
