Hi I'm Bryan

I was born in Germany and raised in Arizona. I love sports and reading. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love reading and sports. A good book will always keep me up late at night. I love my family more than anything else in the world. I am in the middle of six children. I recently returned from a mission and have joined the United States Navy. I love life. I love to learn new things.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith guides me through everything. I have been a member my whole life. Born in the Covenant as we say and baptized at the age of eight. I can't remember a time that I didn't know the church was true. There are moments in my life that made it more clear but all together I have never doubted. I have read a good amount of anti-Mormon literature and to me none of it holds up to real truth. I have always found much greater joy reading the Scriptures. There is a power to the scriptures that is nearly tangible. I feel the Holy Ghost guiding my understanding. I know that Jesus Christ lives. I know it in the same way that I know the sun shines. I know that God is our literal Heavenly Father. We are his children. Because of his love for us he sent us here to earth in order to gain knowledge and understanding. To grow and progress and become like him just as a loving father hear on earth wants his children to become the best they can be. He sent us here with a plan. Prophets to lead and guide us. A church and priesthood to hold his power and spread his Gospel to all of his children. I know that Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God. He saw God the father and Jesus Christ and talked to them face to face. Our prophet today, Thomas S. Monson, continues to be the mouthpiece of God on this earth and the holder of all the keys of the Priesthood. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God and I know the Bible is the word of God. I know all of these things to be true. I have prayed. I have fasted. I have suffered many things for my beleifs. I am willing to suffer all things because I know that if I continue faithful I will be received into the presence of God.

How I live my faith

I have been called as a Ward Missionary. I help the full time missionarys fellowship and teach investigating members or those that for whatever reason have left the church. I love to teach. Explaining Gospel principles to those who lack understanding is the greatest gift that God has given me. To see their eyes light up with new understanding is why I keep studying. I have a goal to learn everything that I possibly can and how to explain it in the simplest form possible. I am also a home teacher. The majority of callings in the Church have to do with teaching in one form or another. Hometeaching is all about fellowshipping and teaching eternal truth. I love the families that I visit. Their entusiasm to learn is amazing. In addition I would say that the calling of all members of the Church is to be full time seekers of truth. I strive to fullfill all of my callings to the greatest extents.
