Hi I'm Danna

I'm a Mormon. I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona 16 years ago. I love the gospel and this wonderful world.

About Me

I love Arizona. The winters are wonderful down here, and the summers may be brutal, but bright. I love reading, playing sports (softball), singing and dancing (though I'm not gifted in either), and animals. I wish to become a vet someday, but fantasies aren't reality, and I am still a sophomore at Mountain View High School. I have a great group of friends that love me for my "slightly insane" self, who lift me up when I'm down, and help me get a better view on the world. My family is everything to me. I have my parents, four older sisters, three brothers-in-law, three nephews, and lots of cousins. They are the people that have advised, watched, and taught me the things that I know that have made me the girl that I am today.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents converted to the church. When I was born, I was already sealed to them, and also to my sisters. I remember thinking that church attendance was similar to going to school: you go for most of the year, and then you can go on break. I was upset when I was little that you had to go to church on Sunday, that you couldn't go to dinner, see a movie, or go to a friend's Birthday party, but I was told that we went to church on a Sunday to worship our Heavenly Father, and that it was our day of sacrifice to Him that created us. I love this gospel and I can see how much it has truly blessed my family. I am happy being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I do not do drugs or alcohol. I do not watch rated R movies, I dress modestly, and I do not use foul language. I set my sights on marrying a worthy priesthood holder - returned missionary in our Father's house, the temple. I dream of serving in the mission field myself, and help people get back to our Father in Heaven. I strive to serve my family, my friends, my peers, the community, and my Heavenly Father. When I get together with my friends, we try to stay away from gossip worthy topics and focus on other things. I attend Seminary at my school, and I attend church every Sunday. Most importantly, I keep myself morally clean, and I try to be proactive and obey my parents.
