Hi I'm Camie

I am a wife and a mother. I am also a speech-language pathologist. I'm from Utah and now live in Florida. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to my sweetheart and we have a two year old son who keeps us on our toes! Being a wife and a mother is so rewarding and I love spending time with my family! They are the most important thing to me and I'm so grateful that I can be with them forever! I graduated with my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology a few years ago and absolutely love working with those individuals who have communication disorders. I love the mountains, the beach, music, dance and laughing with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church, so I have been taught gospel principles all of my life. I remember being in high school and thinking about where my faith came from. I had been lead and taught by the example of my family and church leaders, and I wanted to make sure that I had my own personal testimony of the Savior and His gospel. I knew the gospel was true because I had received confirmation from the spirit. I had listened, studied, and prayed to my Heavenly Father and had felt that surety and peace that the Book of Mormon is true and that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth in these latter-days. I know that through the atonement of Jesus Christ, we all have the opportunity to come unto Him, to repent, and to be saved. If we follow Him, we can live together as families forever. I know that the principles of faith, prayer, repentance, and salvation are real and can be applied in our lives. We aren't perfect, and that's okay, because we can keep trying and learning and growing as we strive to follow the Savior's example. What a beautiful blessing to know that we have a Heavenly Father and a Savior who know each of us individually and who love us. I know that I am a daughter of God who loves me and wants me to be happy. The gospel brings me hope and peace. That is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I serve with the young women ages 12-18. I love teaching and working with the young women, and learn so much from their strength and determination to learn and live the gospel principles and standards in an ever-increasingly difficult and unstable world. As a family, we live our faith by studying the scriptures together, praying together, and trying our best to live the gospel principles and have a Christ-centered home and family.
