Hi I'm Sheri Bryce

I am a native Phoenicion, I am an office manager for a roofing and contruction company. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, a mother and a grandmother. I love my family, I have five wonderful children with five spouses and five grandchildren (two more coming this year). I have always loved being a mother and had the great opportunity to stay home with them for many years. My family is the most important part of my life. I am close to my children and love spending time with them and their children. My husband is the best! He accepts me for who and what I am and loves me. Even though my husband and I do not have much in common, we share the gospel and our families and we love each other. I am an office manager for a roofing company. I enjoy working with my family. My sister, brother, nephew, daughter, son, and another son all work with me. I have the great opportunity to see the work ethic of my family and have that bond that we have from working with each other. I love to sew, cross stitch and scrapbook. My father always whittled when he watched tv, so I learned that doing something while you watch tv was not wasting your time so I sew, or cross stitch or scrapbook while I watch tv. I also love nature. I grew up going to the mountains to a family reunion each summer. I learned to love to camp. I still love it and look forward to that week each year.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I grew up in the gospel. I was one of those that never doubted what I had learned. I did have to find out for myself, and had an amazing experience as a young women that made my testimony solid. I was talking with a close friend in the woods at Young Women's camp after dark. My friend was struggling with life, as we talked about how Christ was there for us when we needed him, the trees around us took on a glow. It surrounded us. It was a powerful sign to me that Christ was there right then, helping two of his daughters. I know that this church is true, I know that our Prophet Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet and talks to God. I know that the teaching of the gospel are there to help us through this life. I know that I have made covenants that help make me a better person. I know that through scripture reading and prayer I can have answers to problems in my life. I know that the priesthood has real power, to comfort, and to heal. I have had my mother, father, brother, and daughter pass on to the next life. I understand that I will be able to see them again someday, if I will be obediant and follow the commandments. I look forward to seeing them again. I also have a sister that is mentally handicapped and I look forward to knowing her as a real person, other than that of which she is now. I know that there is life after death. I know that I am a daughter of God and that he loves me. I know that we are all children of our Heavenly Father and he loves each one of us. I hope and pray that I will see him again.

How I live my faith

I am an organized person and so I have the opportunity to organize activities for the women in our congregation. I enjoy getting to know the women better through fun and meaningful activites. I visit with several of the women on a monthly basis. I have gotten to know them better and it helps me realize that each person has their own struggles. I know that we can help each other in the process of living this life. I enjoy the time that I spend with the women. I try to live my life to reflect the teaching of the gospel.
