Hi I'm Mitchell P

I am from Utah, I play Volleyball, and love to eat. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Utah. I served a 2 year mission for the LDS church in the Missouri Independence Mission. it covered 2/3 of Kansas and about a 1/4 of Missouri. There is alot of church history and US history and I enjoyed every minute I am 3rd in a family of 4 kids. 2 sisters, and one brother. and I am the first in my family to go on a mission for my church. I was nervous at first, but it was worth it. I have made friends with people I taught. I am grateful for all the sacrifices they made to become a member of the LDS church. and because of them it has strengthen my faith in Jesus Christ. I love the snow and I love being outside. Family is really important to me. Becasue of my mission I have more appreciation for my family, my friends, and for the choices I make. I do not know where I would be with out our savior Jesus Christ

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a Latter-day saint, but I did not have a testimony of my own. I had to really search and earn it. The reason why I choose to stay a mormon is because I could not deny the answer that I recieved from our loving Heavenly Father that he has once again restored His church on the earth today. Because of this answer I sacrificed 2 years and the rest of my life to go and teach people about the wonderful message we have. Christ does live and he has called a prophet on the earth and as we heed his councel we can live with Him again. I have seen different people make huge sacrifices to change and follow Christ and be baptized. Because of their sacrifice I am willing to give me of myself to this wonderful gospel. I know Christ lives and I know this is His church.

How I live my faith

I believe that you should live what you teach and so some of the things I have done to follow Christ example and serve others.  I have done service for the red cross for atleast 7 months, I worked one older Masonic lodges to help restore thier buildings so they can worship as they please. I have done countless of moves for people. I love going over to people's homes and hearing their conversion story to this church, or how they lived their lives. I have help organize many open house events for the church. I can not express my love for the young children in this church and their zeal towards missionary work, and following Christ. I could go on and on. but do more than listen and learn about Christ. I live it everyday.
