Hi I'm Caleb

I am part of an amazing family, I am preparing to serve a full-time mission, I'm a big fan of Fruity Pebbles, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a senior in high school, and i absolutely love it! I run cross country, and i actually enjoy it... well most of the time. I think the greatest way to describe my sport is this- "Cross Country is like banging your head against the wall... it feels good when you stop." I also enjoy wakeboarding, waterskiing, snowboarding, the smell of mango lotion, and i love to longboard. I really like Fruity Pebbles, especially the second bowl using the milk from the first bowl you poured... Highly Recommended :) I have been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Washington State. I anxiously await the day I report. The absolute biggest part of my life is my family. I am the second oldest in a family of five kids. Each sibling and both of my parents are my best friends... actually, they're more than that, they are my family. Every hobby that I have is shared with my brother. It has been that way for as long as i can remember. He's always just a little bit better than me at most things, and I love it :) I give all credit for anything cool that I can do to my brother, because he always has the guts to do it first. I love my family and everything important to me can be traced back to my family. I have a strong testimony of families and I know that we can live together forever because of the atonement of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this church is true. I did not gain this knowledge overnight, but i was able to through sincere prayer and scripture study. I was able to gain a testimony piece by piece, and i continue to strengthen my testimony everyday. I have a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that the Savior restored the fulness of His gospel through the prophet Joseph Smith in these latter-days. I have a testimony of the Savior's atonement. It gives me hope and calms all of my fears. I know that the Savior loves me and He is my closest friend. He is also my greatest example, and every day i am able to strive to become more like him. I know that i have a loving Heavenly Father who has a great plan for me. I know that He wants my to live with my family forever, and i know that this is made possible through the atonement of Jesus Christ. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because the Gospel that it teaches just makes sense, and i know that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to do everything i can to help those around me. The Savior gave His life for me, and i am set on giving my life to Him by serving His children. I am so very imperfect and I have so many weaknesses, but that is the great part about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It teaches that no matter what you have done or what weaknesses you have you qualify for the love of God and He will help you to become better. I am preparing to serve a full time mission and am doing so by trying to share the gospel with those around me. I absolutely love people and being with them, because I know that everyone has so much potential and I get excited just thinking about it.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Caleb
We are surrounded in a world that was created by God. The evidence of His existence lies within His creations that we are so blessed to witness. I don't necessarily live in the most beautiful place in the world, but I am surrounded by the beauty of His creations everyday. The goodness that I see in the world confirms my belief in God. I love to see others serve and do good things, and I love to do those same things. It helps me to recognize where that goodness comes from. I also like to look up in the night sky really early in the morning, before anyone is awake, and just simply believe in God. The stars in the night sky help me to know that God is real, and that He is my Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
