Hi I'm Dean

I am an attorney in Kingwood (Houston), Texas. I am a husband and father of 4 beautiful daughters. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy boating and singing. Mostly I love being with my family. I have a beauiful wife and four daugthters, ages 21, 17, 16, and 13. Coincidentally, all of my daughers were born in the month of May. When I tell people that I live with 5 girls (my 4 daughters and my lovely wife), they usually say they are sorry for me. I tell them that I am the luckiest man in the world. My girls take good care of me and love me no matter what.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Chuch, but I had to determine for myself whether I was on the right path. I came to that conclusion through extensive study and prayer. Some people feel that the Mormon's belief in modern-day prophets and modern-day scripture is odd. But if you think about it, it is more strange for current Christians to believe that prophets no longer exist, when those same Christians know and proclaim that it has been standard practice through all of recorded history for God to speak through prophets, and for those prophets to record their inspired teachings as scripture. Of course, that is how we got the Bible in the first place. God does not love His children less today, and I firmly believe that He continues to speak through His prophets, who in turn direct the affairs of His Church in our day. This testimony has brought great joy to my life.

How I live my faith

I enjoy very much my work in the Church. When I was age 19, I left home to serve a two-year, full-time mission in Southern Florida and Jamaica, where I met some of the most wonderful people I have ever known. It was my privilege to share my testimony of Jesus Christ and His restored Church with them. My current calling in the Church involves working with the boy scouts and participating in other youth activities, including youth events with my daughers. My family has benefited greatly by living the values taught by the Church. I love seeing my daughters grow to maturity with high moral standards. I was raised in a very happy home, and my children are growing up in a happy home. A lot of the credit for that happiness comes from our membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and our commitment to living Gospel standards.
