Hi I'm Airi

I'm preparing to go on a mission. I want to share the gospel to everyone. I love being a Mormon!

About Me

A twenty year old girl who lives in a hodgepodge of high hopes and happy rainbows and whose soul delights in her Savior, Jesus Christ. ♥ Born and raised in the Philippines, I am very diverse in my interests. I like learning new things and anything related to science, history, literature, art, food, and music. Almost all of the good stuff, I guess! I am the eldest of five siblings. I enjoy hanging out with my family and also being active in the Church. I like meeting new people and learning from them too. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and is going to take the Pharmacist's Licensure Exam which I pray and hope to pass, soon! I want to serve a full-time mission and after, fulfill my dreams of being a physician but of course, I also want to get married in the Temple and have a family of my own. Juggling all those things is a rocky journey but Pres. Monson said, "The future is as bright as your faith". Amen to that!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm blessed to have parents who were both converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I grew up in a Christ-centered home. I've also been attending church and other meetings and activities since I was a kid and there, my love for my Savior and His gospel has grown. As I became a teenager, I was also bombarded with negative views and worldly philosophies but then I prayed sincerely, searched for answers, and applied the principles that were taught, I came to a testimony of truth that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and that we have a living prophet today, Thomas S. Monson, who stands as a beacon of light for all. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and studying it has brought me closer to God. I used to struggle on my identity but now, I've understood my intrinsic worth. I know that Heavenly Father loves each one of us and He wouldn't put us in any situation that isn't for our own good because He wants us to rise and be more God-like. He prepares us for something BIG and He wants us to live up to our divine potentials. I know that families can be together forever. I've had the best times with my family but it doesn't mean that we don't have any problems at all. Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ no matter what the circumstances are has given me peace, safety, and happiness. I will also be forever grateful for the Atonement of our Savior. He has provided a way for us to repent, break-free from our sins, and to live with Him forever. I was redeemed by His love and it has made marvelous changes in my life and has helped me strive to be the best person that I can be.

How I live my faith

I was able to serve more through this Church. I used to teach the youth every Sunday and also organize activities and meet the needs of young girls. Now, I help organize activities for single adults to learn and strengthen each other. I also reach out to other sisters in our ward and also to new converts and investigators of different faiths. I treat everyone with kindness and respect. I want each person to feel loved like the love I felt from my Heavenly Father. I try to live my faith in everything I do-- Be an example of the believers in thoughts, conversations, actions, and in purity.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Having faith in Jesus Christ greatly influences all other relationships in our lives.
