Hi I'm Tate

I live in Ventura California, I Surf, I play the Drums, I love the band Switchfoot, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from California. I love to surf, play music with my little bro and go on adventures! I love to read and I love film and music. I love movies and music that inspire us to be better and one day I hope I can have a role in creating inspiring and uplifting media. I went to college in Rexburg Idaho at BYUI and when I get home from my mission I hope to do something in film.

Why I am a Mormon

The answer to why I'm a mormon is pretty simple. This gospel is true. The principles laid out in this church are what truly brings happiness. There is no other path in life that can even come close to the true joy you feel when you follow Christ's church. Everything God commands us to do is for our own happiness. Before this life, I chose to come to this earth because I had faith that God knew what was best for me. Now that I'm here I will not turn back on that decision. I know he loves me and wouldn't do anything to lead me astray. He wants me home as well as my Brother, Jesus Christ, and they will do all they can to have me, and everother one of His children, return and live with Him in eternal happiness. Why am I a mormon? Because I am a child of God.

How I live my faith

Growing up I served in multiple callings in my church. Right now I'm serving as a full time missionary in the country of Chile.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

God is our Heavenly Father. And just like most fathers on earth, He has an uncoditional love for all of us. He wants whats best for us and is devoting his entire being to "bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." (Moses 1: 39) That is His entire purpose. He wants us to be eternally happy. And for this reason He has created this entire plan for each individual to return to Him and live forever with their families in joy and peace. Show more Show less
