Hi I'm Bonnie

I am an elemetary school educator and swim-team mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up as #6 out of 7 children. My family are all members of the church and we have close relationships with each other. Our holidays are a blast! I was married and finished my degree in Education. After suffering 6 years of infertility, I became pregnant with twins. They were born at 24 weeks gestation and within days they passed away and back into the hands of God. Over a year later, and after a complicated pregnancy, our son was born. Two years later I became pregnant with twins, again. After 22 weeks on bedrest and nearly three weeks in the hospital, we brought our preemie baby girls home. Our lives have been so blessed and our three children are happy and thriving. I am so grateful that I get to be a mom. I am so grateful that I have a loving and supportive husband who loves me unconditionally. We've definitely had our ups and downs (I call them "relationship adjustments") but we cleave to each other and constanly work on effective communication. It is a lot of work to build a happy home, but definitely worth all of the effort!

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel is a strong foundation in my life. It has brought me the added strength that I need in those moments when I felt the weakest. I know my Heavenly Father knows me...I mean REALLY knows ME. He loves me and wants me to live my life in such a way that would allow me to return to live with him in the next life. I love the scriptures. I feel filled with light and happiness as I read and study the scriptures. I teach teenagers the gospel each Sunday and I love to see them discover new parts of the gospel that will help them in their lives. My prayer is that those out there who are looking for peace in troubling times will take time to read the Book of Mormon which testifies of Jesus Christ. Ask questions of your Mormon friends, and find the happiness that I feel as I live the gospel.

How I live my faith

Living the gospel has become a close part of my life. Service to others is uplifting and I have made some of my greatest friends while serving others. I live my faith as an example of obedience. I have been so blessed by God and I love sacrificing and serving others so I may be an instrument in His hands.
