Hi I'm Shelly Larson

I'm a college student. I love playing volleyball and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm attending college, but not sure what I want to be just yet. I love spending time on the court with my volleyball team, and pinterest crafts are my idea of a fun afternoon. I love to cook, bake, play sports, and try new things! I'm the youngest in my family with three older brothers. I can't wait to someday be a mom and have kids of my own!

Why I am a Mormon

Luckily for me I was raised in this church. But like every member even if I am raised into this gospel I too need to be converted. While learning as a child about the principles and continuing to learn it in seminary and Young Women, I have gained a testimony of this gospel and continue to do so. This gospel has helped me in more ways than one and makes me realize on a daily basis how lucky I am to have it in my life. I truly believe that this is the true gospel and I'm striving to live it everyday. I do make my mistakes like everyone else but that's the great thing about this church is there is room for error. I know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ will always be there for me. I am never alone when I have this gospel.

How I live my faith

I served in the Stake Youth Committee while I was a senior in high school. Being in the committee I had to help with different activities with the youth such as firesides, dances, and service projects. We focused on the theme, "Stand Ye In Holy Places". Now I am a primary teacher for the nine year olds. Though I'm suppose to be teaching the children I learn more and more from them everyday.
