Hi I'm Jill

I'm a Mormon. I've been blessed to be a Mormon for 55 years and love sharing my love of my faith with others.

About Me

I'm a wife, mother of four children, and grandmother of two. I love reading, hiking in the mountains, going to the beach, art, music, playing the piano and organ, and gardening. I especially love working in my rose garden and raised bed organic vegetable garden. I love spending time with my family doing any of these activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to have been raised in a strong active Mormon family. We went to church together as a family every Sunday. My parents set a good example to me of loving the Lord and being obedient to his commandments. We were taught to be honest in all our dealings, and compassionate to others. As a young child I felt that Heavenly Father and Jesus loved me, and never wavered from that belief as I grew up. As a teenager I felt a strong desire to pray and gain a testimony for myself. I never had any dramatic answer to these prayers, but I felt the spirit often, and felt certain that I was in the right place. My testimony has grown as I have been through many vicissitudes of life.

How I live my faith

I love being a part of our ward. I play the organ in church, and also have an assignment to teach the women about the scriptures and the gospel. I love associating with great people at church who have become friends and blessed my life in many ways.
