Hi I'm Caryn

I am from Southern California. I lost a sister when I was 7. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I adore just about anything creative. I majored in Interior Design and Architecture, but originally thought that I would pursue animation. So as you can tell, I love all forms of art. I love the cleansing qualities of music. I love to sing and am currently a member of the Orange County Mormon Choral Organization (or OCMCO). I played soccer for over 10 years and it still brings me great joy. I love to get lost in a good book, especially one where my imagination can run wild. I also can have an amazing time with a sketchbook and a pencil.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have learned for myself that this is the true church of Jesus Christ here on the earth. At the age of seven, my family lost my sister to birth complications. My mother suffered severe complications as well, which led to a long road of recovery. Any death is a hard thing to go through, but the gospel of Jesus Christ teaches that there is a plan in place for us. I know that we are children of God and that He loves us. I know that because Heavenly Father loves us, He has a great Plan of Happiness in place to tell us where we came from, where we are, and where we are going after this life ends. I know that as I obey God's laws I will be able to return to live with my Father in Heaven and my sister again.

How I live my faith

I love this church because it is not just a Sunday church. We as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, decide every single day to live what we believe. In order to help us live our faith, we receive special assignments to help ourselves and others in our communities. My special assignment is to participate on the Service Committee for our congregation. Our most recent Service Activity consisted of performing a service day for family members of those in our armed forces. It was such a pleasure to serve these families as they sacrifice so much for us to enjoy the way we live. I can hardly wait for another opportunity to serve those wonderful families.
