Hi I'm Curtis

I was born in Hawai'i and am now an Orthodontist under the Big Sky in Montana. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married with five beautiful children. I love fly-fishing, hunting, camping and hiking. I enjoy working with my hands and built my first custom flyrod during the long Montana winter. I have started snowboarding with my kids and have managed to not break any bones so far! My free time is devoted to my family and friends. We have a couple horses, a couple dogs and a couple acres to enjoy them on.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church. I spent considerable time studying the Book of Mormon during high school in preparation for serving a mission. This helped solidify my belief that this is the true church of God. However, I think I have always felt strongly that this is where my faith is. The gospel melds so well with just basic common sense. The power and logic of the truth is undeniable. That, coupled with the feelings of the Holy Ghost, has kept me firmly in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I devote a large portion of my life to serving others. I have been in leadership administrative positions in the church for the last ten years. This involves working with all the members of the congregation. I have had special involvement with the young people of the church in my responsibilities. It is exciting to work with them and see them figure out life on their own. I also actively engage in community service. I am president of our local dental society and organize a large community food drive each holiday season. It's a ton of fun and we raise a huge amount of food!
