Hi I'm Britany Heaton

I am currently serving a mission in Oklahoma city, Oklahoma. I love to take Pictures and ride horses. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Picture driving down a road with me. I ask you to stop. I take pictures. I am fascinated by nature. I have even caught a picture of a lightning bolt! Don't worry, it only took about 100 other tries to finally get the perfect catch. That is what I love about photography. I love how God has created such a unique world for us to discover and learn from. The beauty He has given us to live in and to love. I love sharing about my Heavenly Father with others. That is why I'm going to go on a mission to serve the lord and to spread the gospel. I love to ride horses, and take pictures. I enjoy reading books, and taking pictures. Most of my time is spent hanging out with friends, and family. Oh, I also love taking pictures. I love to help others in any way I can. Have I mentioned I love taking pictures? I am a hard worker, and I love to serve others.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has faced a lot of challenges for many years. When I was very young I was faced with seeing my family face a lot of health issues and deal with daily life at the same time. Because of all that I have faced, I have learned that families can be together forever. That God is aware of my situation, and knows that the next life will bring greater blessings because of all that we have faced. I am a Mormon because I believe that the gospel is true, that what is said in the scriptures is true, and that we have a living prophet to help guide us and lead us today.

How I live my faith

Living my faith comes a lot from what I love doing. There are a lot of people around us that stand in need, and Heavenly Father gives me lots of opportunities to love and help them. Sometimes that is sitting by those who are bedridden and need a friend. Sometimes that comes through helping youth who have gone astray. I worked for a while at a wilderness therapy camp transporting youth to their destinations, and even though it had its challenges, I loved having the chance to play a part in their lives and see that all people can change no matter what path they are on. Plus I got to play in the outdoors and see the world God has given me, and take pictures of course! How I live my faith is by being a example of the gospel in all that I do and by studying the scriptures and praying to my Heavenly Father every day.
