Hi I'm Crystal

I am from a small town in Arizona. I am a wife since September 2010. I am a legal secretary and a bookkeeper. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated with a Bachelors degree in accounting from Brigham Young University - Idaho April, 2010. I am newly married to a wonderful man, September, 2010. We are excited to start a family. When I was younger I thought about how my future children will be raised in challenging times, but I know that as my husband and I teach correct princiles they will learn how to govern themselves in accordance to the gospel of Jesus Christ. While I was attending school people would ask what I wanted to do with my accounting degree and I would give them some accounting fields that are appealing to me and let them know that more than anything I want to be a mom. I am currently a mom to my nieces and nephews and the children my husband and I teach in Primary.

Why I am a Mormon

I started taking the missionary lessons when I was twelve. When I was fourteen I started reading the Book of Mormon and that made all the difference. The Book of Mormon talks, and testifies of Jesus Christ. I did not really understand who Jesus was before than. I heard my family members and friends pray in the name of Jesus Christ but I didn't understand why. As I read the Book of Mormon and as the missionaries, my family, and friends talked with me I realized that Jesus Christ is our Mediator. That it is only through him we can communicate to our Heavenly Father and only through him that we can return to live with Him. I am so greatful for the Atoneing sacrifice of Jesus Christ. I know that He loves me very much and He loves you very much. I love Him and I want to be like. Because I know the Book of Mormon was true I knew that Joseph Smith had to be a Prophet and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is truly Jesus Christ's Church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving people and visiting with them. I visit my neighbors. The ladies I visit in my Church become my good friends. My neighbors are my friends too. I just want you to know I don't visit ladies in my Church out of obligation, but because I love the friendships it develops. My husband and I teach the four and five year olds in Sunday school. The kids love Jesus. It is such a blessing to hear their testimonies each week.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Crystal
Because we are imperfect people who sometimes makes wrong choices. In our imperfect state we aren't worthy to returne to live with our Heavenly Father. Through Jesus Christ we can be made clean. He suffered for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross. As we sincerely repent and turn away from mistakes and put forth the effort to keep the commandments we can be forgiven. I know that Jesus wants us to come unto Him to become clean. It is up to us to go to Him. Show more Show less
