Hi I'm Carrie

I grew up in Spokane. I work with kids who learn differently than others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three, mother-in-law of three and grammy of five. My husband and I have been married twenty-nine years. Luckily, I get to spend my days working with kids with special learning needs. I love what I do at home and at work. When I have spare moments I bake, read and keep up with my family around the country.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was eight years old. Silly as it may sound, I remember as a little girl about that age burning my hand. I sat in church praying that it would stop hurting. A warm feeling came over me and my hand stopped hurting. I knew then that I had a Father in Heaven who loved me and cared about me. My heart still burns when I think about that day because I know He still loves me and is aware of my needs even today. When I love others and try to follow my Savior's example I am happy and at peace even through trials.

How I live my faith

I get to teach Sunday School and I love it! Reading and learning from the scriptures is fabulous! We are just finishing our study of the New Testament and I have so enjoyed learning more of our Savior's ministry on the earth. In the past I have been priviledged to work with little children, teenagers and scouts. Teaching adults has been a challenge and a joy.
