Hi I'm Verle

I'm a father, grandfather, great grandfather and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 86 years old. I served in the military over 21 years and retired in 1965. I then was in law enforcement for many years in Utah, Idaho, and Washington. I retired from Grant County Auditors office in 1988.

Why I am a Mormon

While in the army in 1949 I was introduced to the Book of Mormon. I was very critical of the book and the church. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it was true. The spirit testified that it was true. I was then baptized. That was the best decision I had ever made. Since I became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, my life has changed for the better. I love the gospel and my relation to Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have had various callings in the church through the years. I have served several missions. I have had great joy and happiness in serving the Lord and his people wherever I go in the world.
