Hi I'm Chuck

Im from the Pittsburgh region, i love football, I love to lift weights I'm a Jeep fanatic and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now i am currently a college student. I love to work on cars as a hobby. body work is one of my favorites. But i can do just about anything. I played football since i was in fourth grade through high school and absolutely loved it. I'm also a Steeler fan. Exercise and lifting weights are one of my hobbies as well. I go to the gym everyday and i love it. Oh and i love a good pair of shoes

Why I am a Mormon

I was the only member of my family that was born into the faith. I was brought up learning and believing in the Gospel of Christ. I have wonderful parents that taught me these wonderful principles at home. I had also served a full time mission which was the most wonderful two years of my existence so far. I grew to know and love the people i worked with. Also was able to learn more about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and how much they love me. Now I'm a Sunday school teacher in a singles ward and i love teaching about the scriptures to my peers.

How I live my faith

I have a calling as a Sunday school teacher.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Chuck
The Book of Mormon was written by several prophets thousands of years ago. It starts off with a family leaving Jerusalem to go to America and the father was a prophet. The father received revelation to do so. Over time this family grew into a civilization that covered the land. God continued to call prophets among these people so they could learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and what God wanted for them. Also in the Book of Mormon it is recorded that Jesus Christ comes and visits these people and teaches them. Joseph Smith was its sole translator and not the author of the book. Also the Book of Mormon verifies the teachings of the bible and supports the bible. Show more Show less

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Chuck
We most certainly do not worship Joseph Smith. Just like prophets of old such as Moses or Abraham, Joseph too was a prophet of God who received revelations for the Lords Church. We do give Joseph Smith a lot of respect and esteem him highly due to the fact that he was a prophet, but we do not worship him. We only worship God, our heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ. It is God to which we pray in the name of Christ. And it is God who bestows all that we are blessed with. It is Christ who has redeemed us from our sins through his Atonement. Show more Show less
