Hi I'm David

I'm a singer, I'm college student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the fourth of five children. My three older sisters are all married with kids, and I have six nieces and nephews. They are all amazing. I love my wonderful parents and all of my family. They are truly a huge blessing in my life. I am currently attending Utah State University. I am in the pre-med/dental program, but I'm still not quite sure what I want to do with my future. I love music in many of it's forms. I have been playing the piano, not too well, since I was eight years old. I have been playing the cello since I was 11, and it has to be my favorite instrument to listen to. I attempt to play the guitar, but I really enjoy singing. I have been singing ever since I was walking, but now it is mostly with the radio or school choir or something else random. I also enjoy swimming, playing tennis, volleyball, and running. I must admit that I'm not coordinated at all. But I try, and I have fun with it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and I strive to live by it's guidelines everyday. Yes, I make mistakes all the time, but I know that I can overcome them through, and only through, the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ truly did live and die for us. ALL of us. He suffered that we might overcome sin and death. I do my best to follow the example of my Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. I know that God is truly our Heavenly Father. My Father in Heaven blesses my life everyday, and I am so grateful for Him. I feel his love when I pray, read the scriptures, attend church, obey any of His commandments, and I feel his love when I serve others. I have come to know for myself, through the power of the Holy Ghost, that this truly is Christ's church restored on the Earth in our day. I know that anyone who wants to know the truth for themselves can find out through the Holy Ghost by prayer, scripture study, faith, and obedience to God's will.

How I live my faith

I enjoy serving in callings in the church. One of my favourites was teaching the 12 and 13 year olds in Sunday school. I also have sung in the church choir for a few years, and I play the piano for various meetings in the church... but only when they're desperate. I enjoy serving others in the community, and the church has helped me with this by planning regular service projects that I have had the opportunity to participate in. I recently returned from serving a mission for the church in Canada, and I loved it. I have been in various cities in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and even Minnesota. I loved having the opportunity to share the gospel with others. People truly are changed through the Atonement of Jesus Christ as they feel the Holy Ghost.
