Hi I'm Jason

I am a husband, father, technologist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am husband, father, and technologist who enjoys spending time with my family, reading, playing the piano, singing, fishing, camping, hiking, skateboarding, and playing games with family and friends. Everything I do I give 100 percent as I believe anything worth doing is worth doing well. I try to apply this philosophy to both my personal and professional life and I have been blessed greatly from it. Additionally, I am an optimist by nature and I try to see the good in everything no matter what life brings. I have found that being grateful for what I have been given despite my situation helps me to maintain a positive and happy outlook.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have learned through study, prayer, and applying the principles and teachings of this religion to my life, that The Church of Jesus Christ is the only church that contains the complete and everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ. I have come to understand my true and eternal identity, why I am here, and where I am going. I recognize that I am a literal son of a Heavenly Father who loves me and is aware of me in a very real and personal way. I know that he is God, that he lives and Jesus Christ is his son. I know that true and lasting happiness is made possible through the atoning sacrifice of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I have learned that as I follow his teachings and try to align my life with His will that I am happier and better for it.

How I live my faith

Jesus Christ has set the perfect example of how to serve and care for others. I try to show my faith by following his example through serving my family, in the community, and in the Church. Throughout my life have had many opportunities to provide service. I have helped clean and beautify highways, schools, parks, and buildings. I have participated in programs to raise money for non-profit organizations that serve those in need. I have tried to help the windows and elderly with those things they cannot do for themselves such as paint their homes, mow their lawns, or simply get a box from the attic. I have traveled to give relief to those who have suffered from natural disasters. I have also served in my church under various capacities such as a teacher to the children and young adults, pianist, and in various leadership positions. I am by no means perfect, but I have found as I serve others I feel happiness like nothing else. I tend to forget about my own troubles and become grateful for what I have been given. My wife has been a wonderful example to me as how I should serve. She seems to always find time to help those in need and does so with love and kindness. Jesus Christ lived his live serving others and I believe this his how He wants me to live mine.
