Hi I'm Kaleb

I'm from Wyoming, Love outdoor sports, Love my Family, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving the Lord on a two year mission. In the best mission in the world the California Roseville Mission. I've grown up in Wyoming all my life, i love to play football, go running, I also love to be outdoors, Mtn Biking, Bouldering, Hiking, Hunting and Fishing, and just being able to soak in all of God's creations, and anything where i can connect with nature. FOOD! I love food! I've been able to work in the construction trade with my family, building structures, masonry, and building homes. While i was busy hauling wood and equipment around i learned some life skills, such as working hard, knowing that after working hard you can go play hard, and to have fun while you work. I love music, definitely one of my favorite past-times, being able to just relax and let the music flow. I like to go by quotes so here are a few that i could base my life on... Live life to the fullest, and peace be the journey!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Well, my family ties go way back in the church. My family has been a part of it since the 1800's. So in a way its a family legacy! But i continue this Legacy due to the fact that i believe wholeheartedly that this is Christ's true church, restored through a prophet, and continues to have a prophet to guide the church. I love the feeling it brings me when I attend weekly, also when i read from the Bible and the Book of Mormon, the two go hand in hand in completing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

How do i Live my Faith?? well let's see, we believe Christ to be the ultimate example, loving, giving, kind, diligent, humble, prayerful, and he was always serving others. So i try to be like Christ, am i? not all the time, but i definitely try! I'm human, none of us are perfect. But to me its all about waking up and telling myself "ok, be better today then you were yesterday," yes somedays are better than others but just like in life we need to lift ourselves higher so we can lift those around us up. It's great being a mormon!! we always put ourselves where we can serve other people, whether it be for an elderly woman down the street or for a country ravaged by war and turmoil, service is a huge part of our belief, so i try to serve all the people i can. Also i go and read the scriptures, so i can learn what Jesus was like what ways i can better my life by applying the principle and doctrine found in the scriptures. When i was home in Wyoming i would help people shovel snow off their walks, help clean peoples yards, and cut wood, along with that i was able to teach in sunday school. to youth that were just barely younger than i, in that calling was able to relate to them and help them understand why the church is so important in our lives. Most importantly i repent of mistakes i've made. Cause im human, i make mistakes like everyother person on the planet, but because i know he Savior suffered for me, i can through him be forgiven if mistakes.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Kaleb
we find families important because they are center to Gods plan! the reason why we are here is to gain a family, and through the priesthood which was restored back to the earth by the prophet Joseph Smith, we can be sealed together through all the eternities!! Families are there to help each other through all the hard times and give us strength! i love my family and im so glad that i am sealed to them for the eternities. Show more Show less

In whom should we have faith?

Kaleb
Well we need to have faith in God, our Heavenly Father, i know that he loves us and wants us to trust in him, and be willing to act upon the belief we have in him. He wants to bless us and help us through trials. Along with Heavenly Father we need to have faith in his Son, Jesus Christ. we must have faith in him, becaus ejust like it says in Acts 4:12- "there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" Through Christ we can find salvation, and eternal happiness. I see Faith as a verb, to believe, and then to act upon that belief, how strong is our faith if we aren't willing to go out a show it to those that are aroung us? Show more Show less
