Hi I'm Renae McBarron

I'm a wife, mother, crafter and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love paper and practially anything to do with paper. I love to write, make hand-made cards and gifts and, of course, scrapbook. The most important things in my life though are my husband and my children. I love supporting them in their endeavors. I was a legal secretary for over 15 years, but have since chosen to be a mom at home. I have a small home-based business of selling Close to my Heart stamping and scrapbooking supplies. I do workshops in my home and love sharing with my customers.

Why I am a Mormon

I was brought up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was baptized at the age of 8. I remember very clearly the feeling I had when I was baptized, it was a warm and wonderful feeling and I wanted to do it again. I have always known that in the end I wanted to return to my Heavenly Father and live with him again, I have never doubted or waivered on that decision. I have had many answers to prayers and know without a shadow of a doubt that my Heavenly Father and elder brother, Jesus Christ, love me. I want more than anything to be with my family for all eternity and knowing that through the Priesthood ordinances in this church has provided that for me is so comforting, who wouldn't want to know that they could be with their loved ones after this life.

How I live my faith

I love going to church each Sunday, I try to go with the thought in my mind that I am looking for something that day that will help me with my current challenges. I pray constantly to my Heavenly Father, I know he is listening and I try to have quiet time to listen to Him too.
