Hi I'm Felipe

I'm a Mormon. I was born and raised in the south, however my family is from Costa Rica and that is where I feel most at home.

About Me

I have a passion for soccer, however I am not as good as I pretend to be. I am the second oldest in a family of five children. Now that my older sister is away for college I am responsible for my younger siblings. I am eighteen years old and now working my first job at Chick Fil A. I plan to go to college but do not yet know what I will major in. In school I have always been the one Hispanic in class on top of being the only Mormon. After several years of trying out for the school soccer team I am now on the school wrestling team. I feel that I have lived a very blessed life with many opportunities. I enjoy rock climbing, repeling, caving, canoeing, hacky sack, and traveling to new destinations. I've also had many great experiences participating in the technical crew of the school theater department.

Why I am a Mormon

The Missionaries found my parents when I was extremely young so the church is all I've ever known and for a long time this was the only reason I continued to be active within the church. In the past year I had an experience that caused me to realized that in my heart I know this church is true, before I had tried to fool myself into doubting and try and make things easier. But this is one true church and the Book of Mormon is God's word and Heavenly Father loves me and wants the best for me.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in the city of Los Angeles to bring the gospel to those who are looking to include God in their lives. Because I have a testimony in the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ I have dedicated two years of my life two be a servant of the Lord and spread the good word.
